STRUCTURAL CONSULTANCY & DESIGN RETROFITTING FOR MS STRUCTURE

Client has a 13m tall multi-storey building in a research facility premise where total 55 KL water storage is provided on a MS section structure over terrace. Client needed some changes in the existing design & a structural stability report for the design authenticity.

Project Summary:

• A layout of steel structure was prepared at client site and forwarded for addition & further analysis.
• Changes introduced in MS structure design for tank maintenance & cleaning. This new design is prepared after taking due care of all safety provisions required for working at height and it contained railings on all edges with a protected monkey ladder for access onto tank maintenance platform.
• Besides, some changes related to stability were also recommended on older design. A BOQ/BOM was provided to the client for the quantities of MS sections & other material required for implementation of solution.
• All project deliverables related to structural drawings, structural stability report, BOQ were provided to client within 2 weeks from first site visit.
